The Peer Support Centre is a space to provide a listening ear, explore resources, as well as promote self-care. Peer Support Centre Volunteers provide students with confidential, non-professional support that is rooted in the shared experience as students at Western University. The volunteer will create a safe space for their peers through upholding a welcoming, open, and inclusive nature. Please note: there will be mandatory in-person training for all Peer Support Volunteers as follows: Saturday, August 23rd from 10:00am - 3:00pm Sunday, August 24th from 10:00am - 3:00pm By applying for this position you are acknowledging and accepting that your attendance is mandatory for training. If you cannot attend the in-person training, please do not submit an application. Mandatory in-person ASIST Training will be held October 4th and 5th. This will take place on campus.
