SASC Intake Form

The Student Appeals Support Centre (SASC) is a service that serves to inform and support UWO students facing an academic conflict with the University. Established in 2009 by the University Students’ Council, the SASC is the first and only peer-directed program at Western created to address academic appeals. The service is staffed entirely by students and provides confidential assistance and representation to undergraduate students regarding current academic appeals.

Although the SASC is a student-to-student support, our staff are still extremely qualified and knowledgeable. The SASC has trained our Advisors and Team Leaders with resources from the Office of the Ombudspersons, Senate Review Board of Academic (also known as SRBA), University Students' Council, Case Studies, and Western's Academic Policy.
