Anti-Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Working Group

Anti-Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Working Group

The Anti-Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Working Group was created to conduct meaningful and extended consultation with various and relevant Housing and Orientation stakeholders in order to better understand the nature of SGBV in on-campus residences as well as the efficacy of the updated policy and procedure, particularly as we move into the era of social distancing and greater time spent within those spaces. As well, the committee has and will continue to conduct research on the SBGV and Housing policies of peer institutions, to better understand the ways in which other universities have addressed SGBV through a residence lens and in the context of COVID.

Individuals elected to this group will be required to attend monthly scheduled meetings, conduct research independently, help develop constituency engagement opportunities, and collaborate with other members to achieve separate and collective research and consultation goals.
